Peru, positioned along South America’s western coast, showcases a variety of landscapes, from the Amazon rainforest to the majestic Andes mountains. Notably, it’s home to the historic Incan site of Machu Picchu, a popular tourist destination. Samaritan’s Purse began distributing gift-filled shoeboxes in Peru in 1997 and remains committed to aiding the country’s communities.
